Wow! Liking the new website and forum ThumpUp

Sorry I've not been on for a while... it's been a mixture of things... getting used to meds, bit of depression, nasty bugs and I started college 6 weeks ago.

Things are going ok now and I'm counting down to Christmas.

Hoping to catch up with whats going on with you guys and update my blog....

Sending hugs to everyone! Wub

Hello Tigg!
Be good to hear how you're getting on with everything, hope the meds are settling down xx
I like your quote but if you know any more about the "right" shoes please let me know ~ i want sexy AND sensible but they are so hard to find!!! My personal party season secret tip is a pair of glamorous slipper/ shoes ~ i slip 'em in my evening bag for when me party shoes have got too much! xx

Hi,

Hope you're feeling much better very soon...

Totally impractical shoes are my favourites..LOL (now I just find flatter ones though!)

Have you ever tried 'Zara', Lizzie?

They have lovely original shoes which are Spanish..

I am a BIG fan of slipper shoes too...exceptionally nonsensical of course!

Love,

Amanda

Hi Tigg, nice to see you bouncing back again, and look forward to catching up with your blog.

I'm dreaming of those perfect pair of shoes...... at the moment I've got red sequin pumps, but what I really want is a pair of Dorothy's shoes to click my heals..... and wish....

Love,

Barbara

Oh definitely know what you mean about shoes... I'm still looking for my perfect pair... comfy, semi-sensible but most of all girly & glamorous! When I find them, I shall let you all know Tongue I almost came close in Debenhams... a Love beautiful pair! But silly bent big toe wasn't playing ball so I'm taking it to see the surgeon on Christmas Eve

I seem to be getting on ok with the hydroxychloroquine. Have the occasional headache and nausea but finding lemonade & ginger biscuits help settle them. Went to the opticians last week and all is ok retina and macular. I do see the occasional blob, as if I have something in my eye.. It might be down to the floaters with anemia etc but I'm being referred to eye hospital for further checks just to be on the safe side.

The college thing is creative writing... loving it! Gets me out and about, meeting people and we're working on a murder mystery at the moment.

I also met with a careers advisor a couple of weeks back as I'd love to support people, particularly teenagers and young adults so I'm looking to get qualified in health & social. I originally qualified in maternal & child welfare just under 20yrs ago so definitely needs updating!

Hi Helly,

Nice to see you bouncing in again, but sorry you`ve been feeling rough.

I like the sound of your creative writing course - I love a good whodunnit!! I can really "lose" myself in a book, and think it is one of life`s perks!

Take care,

Kathleen x
